Hey! I'm Valentina.

I am here to be part of the revolution in changing how we see the menstrual cycle.

As Socrates famously said, "The unexamined life is not worth living."

My take on it is: "The unexamined cycle is not worth experiencing."

Let me explain.

Many of us experience negative cycle symptoms such as PMS, cramps, acne, etc., without questioning why they appear. We resort to quick fixes (that don't actually fix anything), while the possibility of true healing exists. If we spend time being curious about our cycles and truly examine why symptoms are manifested, we can make more informed decisions about how to heal and support our bodies.

As a menstrual cycle educator, I sit with an immense belief that every person's connection to his or her body's cycles is the truest source of alignment, health, and ease.

There is wisdom inside the cycles we live through, and love helping teens & adults understand the temples we live in.

Little life stories.

I remember when I got my first period, my mother sat me down and congratulated me on beginning my journey into womanhood.

I remember being in school weeks after, observing my classmates would hide their pads under their sleeves on their way to the bathroom.

This was my first paradox. Why was my period something I needed to hide, even after my mother congratulated me?

I am one of four sisters. Every time a new person got to know my family, they would 'jokingly' say their condolences to my father who has to 'deal' with so many women. (Of course, talking about our 'unpredictable' nature, due to the menstrual cycle.)

I remember spotting for an entire month and feeling so confused about my body.

Little did I know, the high-stress environment I was in affected my cycles. I had no concept that if I practiced self-care and stress management, my cycles would have a better chance of returning to normal.

I remember walking down the street with a male friend and sharing with him that I had gotten my period that day. His instant response was "Oh, how bad is it?"

This interaction made me question everything. Why did he assume it was bad? Who did he hear this from? What narratives are people attaching to this natural bodily function that literally creates a human inside another human?

I felt a strong pull to address the negativity many feel toward their menstrual cycle.

We have a lot of room for improvement.

So, it is so great you're here!
